“You’re a prophetic guy, right?”
I can tell you, that’s not the question I expected to hear at 8:02 am on a Thursday morning. Especially at a leadership breakfast integrating faith and work.
For about the last 10 months, I’ve been part of a cohort going through a program called LifeWork Leadership. The idea is to spend nearly a year learning about how Jesus can, does, and will affect the marketplace and then take that information and transform your city by implementing the practices of Christ on the other six days of the week—and especially through your 9-5.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially the relationships I’ve built with those people that have been part of my “table group.” That’s the even smaller collection of people you sit, talk, and wrestle with on a monthly basis.
One of those people is named Bob.
