The other side. (Pt. II)

I've never done this before.

I’ve never written a “Part II” to a post. But what has transpired over the last week warrants it.

Last week I got radically vulnerable with you. Shocker! (If you’re new around here, it’s kinda my thing.) I talked about being in a difficult season (read it here) and how the words of my aunt (“you’ll make it to the other side”) have been playing in my head on repeat. I got a lot of feedback in direct messages, texts, emails, and phone calls. Thank you.

One of those messages is something I want to share with you because it produced an “aha” moment. And for anyone else going through one of life’s storms, I think it will be helpful as well. But even if you’re not going through a storm, I think it will help you prepare for an upcoming one.
