The Sunday Sit-Down (#2)
Getting vulnerable about a post that didn't do well.
I started a new weekly series last week called The Sunday Sit-Down. The idea is that every Sunday I sit down, hit record, and talk to you as if you and I were chatting in person. I walk you through previous posts, future posts, and what’s going on in my life in hopes that it helps you.
In the first one, I revealed a big life change: I’m going to seminary. You can expect that level of access and candor going forward.
You may notice, though, that it’s not Sunday when you’re getting this. That’s because, with the holidays upon us, I chose family time this past Sunday over recording the video. I finally got around to it today.
Is that OK?
If so, hit play and let’s talk. Here’s what you can expect:
Me explaining the impetus behind the deeply personal post last week, “The widow’s might.” And why there’s just a slight bit of disappointment behind how it did.
A preview of tomorrow’s Christmas post.
And finally, why I’m hoping to NOT get good grades in seminary.
(These weekly chats are fully available to paying members. You can become one for a nominal fee that helps support my writing and my seminary journey. Click the button below to join me and get access to everything. It really means a lot and does help.)
