Thank you Jon!! My sister passed away two weeks ago and today is her birthday. I am grieving greatly. Keep sharing these golden truths. Love you Brother!!

Grief—rightly understood and rightly practiced—is filled with both surrender and hope. It’s a recognition that you can’t fix the wrong. Instead, you need someone else to intervene. Someone outside to step in. Grief is admitting you need Jesus.

I have learned that grieving is, in fact, a more mature way to handle hurts, disappoints, loss...

Jesus has walked me through so many hard things and He is exactly Who I need each time.

Grief, acknowledging it for what it truly was, owning my part and giving the rest to God over and over again, and totally trusting that “He’s got me” brought me out a deep dark valley into the joy filled light at the top ofthat ravine🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
