Love this. We watched a movie called “The Book Thief” last night. Maybe you’ve read the book or seen the movie. I had never heard of it. But your article reminds me of the storyline - the girl used her storytelling as her cello. Really beautiful story. This thought is so encouraging to keep following God’s leading to play the music he’s endowed us each with - and the reminder we all have something to play. 🤍

Thank you for the story. I spent time in Bosnia during the war and there were many great acts of love as well as the horror. Praise God. Here is a part of our story :- https://medjugorjeinternationalrelief.wordpress.com/about/

A few years ago I saw a documentary on this cellest and the whole situation in Serajevo. It was inconceivable to me that the modern civilized world allowed snipers to randomly kill civilians for years holding the city under siege.

My daughter has a friend who survived ot. She had a bullet pass through her hair missing her skull.

We must prepare ourselves that even today in parts of the world the tyranny of military level violence is operative, including even a city 100 miles from me, Denver, where apartment buildings are raided and people taken hostage and kidnapped by gangs.

Yes, seek and perform beauty amidst all the strife. For in the end only two things really matter, Beauty and Love.

Peace & Blessings to you, my friend.
